Fairview Christian Congregation (FCC) through long years of earnest prayers, was founded by Pastor Wilfredo Asumen after finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Philippine Missionary Institute (PMI).  It was established on the rainy season of the year 1990 even without any promise of financial and material support.  Pastor Fred (as he was often called) first conducts Bible studies in his Auntie’s home in Pingkian Village 3, Fairview, Quezon City, Philippines. He was able to form a group of seven (7) believers and gather for Bible studies every weekend under the trees because they had no church building yet.

          By God’s enabling grace, after six months, one believer offered his home for a regular place of Bible study and Worship service. His home was used for many years but some time later the church had to move to another place for some apparent reasons.  The church had been going on like this for years but that did not prevent the believers from continuously serving God’s purpose.  Once again by God’s grace and support from donors and faithful members and almost ten years of waiting and praying, the church manages to purchase a piece of land and started to build a makeshift structure of the church building.

            Since then, although the church building is yet unfinished, monthly attendance is increasing and the ministry of the Lord is continuously moving and growing.  Many homes were opened for Bible study.  Film showing, concerts and medical missions were also conducted through the help of some Christian organizations.

          Today there were more than 60 devoted believers regularly gathering in this place to worship and serve the Lord.
